Futures trading risk

Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You can lose some, all, or — depending on your broker and market conditions — more than your initial deposit. Only trade with capital you can afford to lose. Past performance of any trader, strategy, system, or software is not indicative of future results.

Software is a tool, not advice

NorthPeak Trading Tools provides software only. Nothing on this site or in our products is financial advice, investment advice, a recommendation, a signal service, or a solicitation to buy or sell any instrument. We do not know your financial situation and we are not your advisor. All trading decisions are yours.

Automation-specific risks

• Automated and copied trades execute without a human reviewing each order. Errors in configuration — a wrong multiplier, symbol map, or account — can produce wrong trades quickly and repeatedly.
• Technology fails: disconnects, platform updates, broker outages, and fast or illiquid markets can cause missed, duplicated, delayed, or mispriced executions, and losses beyond a configured stop.
• Backtest and paper results are hypothetical or simulated, differ from live trading in material ways, and do not represent actual trading outcomes.
• Risk controls (daily loss limits, quantity caps, master switches) limit the software's behaviour only within the conditions they can observe. They cannot eliminate market risk.

Prop firm and broker rules are your responsibility

Prop firms and brokers set their own rules on trade copying, automation, account sharing, and hedging — and those rules change. You are solely responsible for confirming, before use and on an ongoing basis, that using a copier or bot is permitted on every account you connect. A firm's enforcement decision (including account termination or payout denial) is outside our control.
